If so, then you are invited to attend SMJUHSD's Rocketing Into High School 2020 Summer Science Experience.

What is Rocketing Into High School?

Rocketing Into High School is a summer science event reserved for any freshman student who is enrolled in the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District. SMJUHS District science teachers are eager to guide you through an engaging two-day science adventure which will conclude with an NGSS Engineering Design Challenge. Do not miss this exciting opportunity to explore the wonders of science, make new friends, and Rocket Into High School!

When and Where

This summer’s Rocketing Into High School Event will be August 4th and 5th, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Pioneer Valley High School, Science Building, 675 Panther Drive, Santa Maria.

LUNCH will be provided both days for all Rocketing Into High School participants.

Space is limited. If you are interested in attending Rocketing Into High School 2020, then please use the registration link (opening March 2020) to secure your spot.

  • Registration for this event will CLOSE June 30th at midnight.

  • Confirmation emails with event details will be sent to all registered students and their guardians in mid-July 2020.

  • Transportation to this two-day event at Pioneer Valley High School will not be provided by the Santa Maria Joint Union High School District.
